Successful removal of a massive tumor, weighing 14.8kg, from the abdomen of a man, aged 42, at the Apollo Hospitals Dhaka helped him return to his normal activities.

The patient was suffering from massive swelling in his abdomen and gradual weight loss for one year. After he was diagnosed with tumor, Dr SMG Kibria, general laparoscopic and vascular surgeon, conducted a surgery on the patient on December 6 last year. His post-operative recovery was smooth and he was discharged on December 10.
