BRTC launches AC bus service on Dhaka-N’ganj route

Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) today launched an air condition (AC) bus service on Dhaka-Narayanganj route.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader inaugurated the bus service beside Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital this morning.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. While inaugurating the service, Obaidul, also general secretary of ruling Awami League, said a total of 15 AC buses will run on Bangabandhu National Stadium-Mayor Hanif Flyover-Signboard-Chashara-Mondolpara route.

The number of the buses will be increased gradually, he added.
The bus fare has been fixed at Tk 50 for travelling to Chashara while Tk 55 to Mondolpara of Narayanganj from Dhaka.
