CU unit sends list of 10 to central committee

The Chittagong University unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has sent a list of 10 of its activists to the central committee holding them responsible for the November 2 clash on the campus that injured 50 people including four police officials.

The CU unit sent the names at the instruction of the central committee, said BCL insiders.

Alamgir Tipu, president of CU BCL, declined to give the names but said the central committee would investigate the allegations and take disciplinary action if the 10 were found guilty.

The clash ensued from a trivial matter, according to BCL sources.
