Female cop found dead in Motijheel

Police recovered a body of a female police constable from at AGB Colony in Motijheel area of Dhaka this evening.

Beauty Akhter, 22, a police constable of company No. 3 of Rajarbagh Police Lines, was found hanging from a ceiling fan in a rented house where she lived with her husband Tariqul Islam, said Omor Faruqe, officer-in-charge (OC) of Motijheel Police Station.

On information, police recovered the body around 6:30pm and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy, he told The Daily Star.
