Fire at Badda slum doused
A fire that broke out at a slum in the capital’s Badda area this afternoon was doused after 45 minutes of frantic efforts.
Four units of fire fighters with the help of locals brought the blaze under control around 3:00pm, Russel Shikder, duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters told The Daily Star.
