Indian foreign secretary arrives
Sujata Mehta, secretary (multilateral and economic relations) to the Ministry of External Affairs of India, arrived yesterday in the capital for a three-day visit to review and discuss the ongoing India-Bangladesh development partnership and economic cooperation.
She is expected to call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and other ministers and to hold discussion with Senior Secretary to Economic Relations Division Mohammed Mejbahuddin.
She is being accompanied by Alok Kumar Sinha, joint secretary (development partnership administration), and Sripriya Ranganathan, joint secretary (Bangladesh and Myanmar).
