Detectives have detained a man for allegedly conducting propaganda in favour of Islamic State (IS) though internet.
Nahid Hossain was arrested from Badda in Dhaka last night, said a SMS sent by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to media today.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. "The detainee was spreading propaganda in favour of so called IS through internet using a fake name Jihadi Jhon," the message read.
Police will come up with details of the arrestees at a press briefing at DMP media centre later in the day.
