Natore child marriage prevented

A 13-year-old girl was saved from underage marriage following a timely intervention of Natore Sadar upazila administration yesterday.
The victim is AkhiKhatun, 13, a class VI student of Jamhorua Dhakil Madrasha and daughter of Enamul Hossain of the village.
Later, the upazila administration officials took an undertaking from her parents not to marry off their daughters until they turn 18.
