Pvt university student goes missing in Dhaka

A third-year student of United International University has gone missing from Notun Bazar area of Dhaka.

Golam Ishraf Saif Rhythm, 21, an Electrical and Electronic Engineering department student of the university went missing from Notun Bazar CNG station area around 5:00pm yesterday, Kazi Iftekhar, uncle of the missing boy told The Daily Star.

Rhythm’s mother Kazi Dalia Bashar lodged a general diary (GD) with Bhatara Police Station seeking whereabouts of her son, Investigation Officer Md Moniruzzaman, who is also a sub-inspector of the police station, said.

After getting out of his class, Rhythm called his mother and said his is coming soon and since then he is missing, Dalia said in the GD, according to the IO.
