Two new vaccines for pneumonia, polio to be launched today

Four international organisations will launch two new life-saving vaccines today aiming to protect Bangladeshi children from pneumonia and polio.
Unicef, WHO, Gavi and the Global Polio Eradication Initiative will jointly introduce pneumococcal vaccine (PVC) and inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) at Dhaka Shishu Hospital around 11:00am, says a press release.
