Vehicular movement across several points in Dhaka city came to an almost standstill, causing suffering for commuters.

Posts were flooding Traffic Alert group in Facebook where people were complaining about today’s unusual traffic congestion in the city.

Among the two major events being held in Dhaka today are Awami League’s meeting at Gono Bhaban and BNP’s nomination collection at Nayapaltan.
