One killed in Paltan bus collision

A man was killed and eight people were injured following a head-on collision between two buses at Paltan intersection in Dhaka early today.

The deceased was identified as Mizan Kazi, 45.

Bacchu Miah, sub-inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police outpost, said that accident took place when a Supravat Paribahan bus collided with another one, leaving Mizan dead on the spot and eight passengers injured.

On information, police recovered the body and seized the buses.
