Private car catches fire near Dhaka airport

A private car caught fire this morning on a road near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport but the blaze was doused in a few minutes.

Fire service officials put out the fire in ten minutes after reaching the spot, Md Waliullah, warehouse inspector, Fire Service and Civil Defense, Kurmitola station told The Daily Star.

The fire likely broke out due to a technical glitch around 11:40am, the inspector said.

Two passengers of the car managed to get off the car when the fire broke out on the rear end, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.
