The authorities of Dhaka University’s Bijoy Ekattor Hall have recovered four sharp weapons from the room of a Bangladesh Chhatra League leader.

The hall authorities conducted a raid at room no. 7009, possessed by BCL’s central unit’s human health affairs deputy secretary Arif Sheikh, and recovered four large knives on Sunday, reports our DU correspondent.

Bijoy Ekattor Hall Provost Prof AJM Shafiul Alam Bhuiyan said, "Arif is no longer a resident student of the hall. We recovered the weapons and handed over those to the Nilkhet Police Outpost."
