Why lawyer Shakila should not be granted bail in militancy case: HC

The High Court yesterday asked the government to explain in two weeks as to why Barrister Shakila Farjana should not be granted bail in two cases after hearing two petitions filed by her.

Shakila, a Supreme Court lawyer and two other lawyers, were arrested in Dhaka on last August 18 allegedly for financing a militant outfit, Shaheed Hamja Brigade.
