Neighbourhood stores selling essentials can stay open till 4pm: DMP
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today said that neighbourhood stores selling essential goods can remain open from 6am till 4pm.
All recognised kitchen markets and super shops must close by 5:00pm like before, a press release issued by the DMP said today.
However, medicine shops and emergency services will remain out of the purview of this directive, the release said.
Earlier, on April 6, DMP ordered closure of kitchen markets and super shops by 7pm, and grocery stores and small shops in the localities by 2pm.
On April 11, DMP ordered to close all recognised kitchen markets and super shops by 5:00pm as the government restricted public movement after 6:00pm.
