Two people died after inhaling toxic fumes from a gas leak while working at a shipbreaking yard in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram today.

The deceased were identified as Masud and Nantu Das, a worker at the yard, our Chattogram correspondent reports quoting Shamim Sheikh, officer-in-charge of Sitakunda Police Station.

The duo was working on a ship named MV Atlas at a shipbreaking yard of Mak Corporation when the incident occurred, the official said.
