The two detainees of the raid in Narsingdi have been brought to book under the anti-terror act.

The two suspected militants are: Salahuddin, a former Dhaka University student, and Abu Jafar, a college student in Narsingdi.

Rapid Action Battalion-11 filed the case with local police this morning accusing seven including Salahuddin and Jafar, said Golam Mostafa, officer-in-charge of the Narsingdi Sadar Police Station.

The names of other five were obtained from Salahuddin and Jafar during primary interrogation, Lt Col Kamrul Hasan, commanding officer of Rab-11, told The Daily Star.

“We will file an application to investigate the case. If we find their whereabouts during investigation of the case, we will arrest them,” Rab-11 CO Kamrul said.

Rab released three of the five who surrendered during an 18-hour long raid at a house in Narsingdi since they did not find the trio's involvement in militancy.
