290 HSC candidates appear ICT exam with wrong question
A total of 290 HSC candidates from Business Studies group of a Jamalpur college were provided wrong set of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) test today.
However, the students of Shahid Ziaur Rahman College exam centre in the town completed their exams with the wrong set of the MCQs, reports our correspondent from Jamalpur.
The examinees were provided with MCQ set ‘Law’ instead of the ‘Olcopi’ set with which the HSC candidates across the country appeared in the test.
They who were from Government Ashek Mahmud College realised the matter soon after completion of their exams.
Contacted, Tariqul Islam Taslim, principal of Shahid Ziaur Rahman College and also secretary of the examination centre, told The Daily Star that the incident was committed unintentionally.
“We have already discussed the matter with the Controller of the Examination Tapan Kumar who has assured that the examinees who appeared with the wrong objective set will not suffer as their MCQ answers will be evaluated according to the set.”
