3 bikers killed in Bogra road crash

A motorcyclist and his two pillions were run over by a bus on Dhaka-Rangpur highway in Bogra last night.

The deceased were identified as Md Kalam, 45, his son Md Hriday, 25, and Shree Gaada.

A Shyamoli Paribahan bus ran them over at Charmatha area around 9:45pm, our Bogra correspondent reports quoting Sonaton Chakrabortty, assistant superintendent of district police.

They were killed on the spot. The bodies were sent to the morgue of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College for autopsy.

Police seized the vehicle, but its driver managed to flee.
