4 killed in Bogra road crash

At least four people were killed as a covered van collided head-on with a bus in Shajahanpur upazila of Bogra this afternoon.

Identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

The covered van collided head-on with the bus in Naymile area around 3:00pm, leaving one passenger dead on the spot and many others injured, said Latiful Islam, officer-in-charge of Shajahanpur Police Station.

The injured were taken to Bogra General Hospital where three of them succumbed to their injuries, the police official said.
