5,000 doctors to be recruited through 39th BCS

A total of 5,000 doctors will be recruited through 39th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exams under Bangladesh Public Service Commission.

Of them, 4,542 will be recruited as assistant surgeons while 250 as assistant dental surgeons, Bangla daily Prothom Alo reports quoting health ministry sources.

The ministry sources told the daily that the 39^th BCS will be a “special” one for doctors.

Besides, PSC Chairman Mohammad Sadik told the daily that the 39th BCS will most probably be a special one for doctors and they are working on it.
