Ansarullah man held in Sylhet

Detectives detained a member of Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) in Sylhet last night in connection with an alleged attack by the militant group during a raid on a flat in Dhaka’s Uttar Badda on February.

The arrestee Mehdi Hasan Omi alias Rafi alias Osama alias Abdullah was arrested in Ambarkhana area in Sylhet by the Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), according to a press release issued by DMP today.
