‘ACC won’t tolerate corruption in education sector’
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) will not tolerate any corruption in education sector for the sake of the country's sustainable development, the commission’s Chairman Iqbal Mahmud said today.
"We will not accept minimum corruption in the education sector," Mahmud warned while addressing a function at Faridganj upazila in Chandpur.
Citing number of anomalies in the primary education sector, Mahmud said many teachers enjoy government’s all facilities without attending the schools regularly and timely.
"No development will be sustainable in the country if the trend is continued," the ACC chief said terming the primary education as the main basement of the education.
Amid the spate of the question paper leak throughout the country, the ACC chairman said the commission is going to take action against the coaching business to prevent the menace of the question leak.
