3 injury marks on Dipan’s body: Autopsy
Three injury marks of sharp weapons were found on the body of Faisal Arefin Dipan, owner of Jagriti Prokashani who was hacked to death yesterday, the autopsy report said.
“Dipan was stabbed twice in the head and once on the neck with a machete,” the Forensic Department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital revealed after performing an autopsy.
After the autopsy, the body was handed over to his family around 12:30pm today.
His namaz-e-janaza was held at Dhaka University Central Mosque after Zuhr prayer. The body was later buried at Azimpur graveyard in the capital around 2:30pm, reports our DU Correspondent.

The publisher was found stabbed dead at Jagriti Prokashani office on the second-floor at Aziz Super Market at Shahbagh in the capital hours after unknown assailants knifed Ahmedur Rashid Tutul, proprietor of Shuddhoswar.
Tutul along with Ranadipam Basu and Tareq Rahim came under machete attacks at the Lalmatia office of Shuddhoswar. Tareq was also shot in the chest.

Both Jagriti and Shuddhoswar published a number of books written by slain blogger Avijit Roy.
The attacks on the two publishers were carried out in a similar style, according to police, witnesses and the family of one of the victims.
Soon after the attacks, a group identifying itself as “Ansar Al Islam (AQIS) Bangladesh,” claimed responsibility for the twin incidents through an email sent to different media outlets.
