Landslide: Rangamati victims to get Tk 50 lakh, 100 tonnes of rice

The government will distribute Tk 50 lakh, 100 metric tonnes of rice and 500 bundles of corrugated tin among the landslides victims of Rangamati.

Obaidul Quader, road transport and bridges minister, made the announcement while visiting landslide-ravaged areas of the southeastern district, reports our local correspondent.

The minister went to visit the area by a helicopter around 10:00am today.

The minister will also visit different areas of Bandarban and Chittagong districts.

Joint General Secretary of Awami league Mahbubu Hanif is accompanying Quader.
