Bangladesh mission in London urges action against attackers

The Bangladesh High Commission in London urged the British government to take legal action against the people who were behind the attack on the mission office last week.

In a press release, the high commission slammed BNP’s UK chapter and front organisations for providing a false statement over the attack allegedly carried out by the party men at the mission office on February 7.

Expressing grief over the incident, the Bangladesh High Commission office in London in a press release said BNP’s UK unit has actually tried to put the blame on the mission in a bid to confuse people.

On February 7, activities of BNP’s UK chapter and its front organisations allegedly forced their way into the Bangladesh High Commission in London and assaulted its employees while vandalising some valuables.

Following a demonstration, a group of the activists entered the high commission in the name of submitting a memorandum, according to a press release previously issued by the high commission.
