Bangladesh Chhatra League activists have reportedly vandalised Rajshahi New Government Degree College campus following a trivial matter.

A group of BCL men vandalised the furniture at a programme where Ayman Sadiq, founder of 'Ten Minutes School' was present as a guest speaker yesterday afternoon, reports our RU correspondent.

Around 20 students were injured while they were trying to escape place and many furniture, dustbins and flowerpots in front of the principal’s office were also vandalised as some teachers reportedly forced the BCL men out of the programme.

However, Sadiq, who was featured in the Forbes' young social entrepreneurs list recently,  remained unhurt, sources said.

Professor SM Jarzis Kadir, principal of the college, said the programme was going on normally, but some BCL men carried out the vandalism alleging that a teacher forced them out of the programme.
