Body of unidentified man recovered in Ctg

Police recovered body of an unidentified man, aged about 28, from Ambagan area in Chittagong today.

The body carried injury marks of sharp weapons including burn injuries on its eyes and face that made it difficult to identify, reports our Chittagong correspondent quoting Nizam Uddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Khulshi Police Station.

Local boys informed the police after finding the body lying under a culvert near Ambagan Canteen Gate area under Khulshi Police Station around 10:00am, the OC said.

“Miscreants might have killed the person with sharp weapons and then burnt the face to remove his identity,” he also said, adding that the body was sent to Chittagong Medical College morgue for autopsy.
