Comilla saw a huge jump in its pass rate of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, increasing by almost 21 percentage point than the previous year.

The pass rate for this year is 80.40 per cent compared to last year’s 59.03 per cent.

Comilla Education Board is responsible for the poor results of the last two year’s SSC exams, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid told at a briefing at the secretariat while formally publishing the SSC results.

“Measures have been taken after talking to the other education boards thus helping in the increase of the pass rate of Comilla Education Board,” said Nahid.
