Death in road crash: Pabna medical students block highway
Some students of Pabna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) blocked Dhaka-Pabna highway for two hours protesting the death of their fellow in a road crash on February 13.
The protesters took to the street around 11:00am to realise their five-point demand including arrest of the truck driver responsible for the accident.
After the road block, they submitted a memorandum to the deputy commissioner of Pabna in favour of their demands.
On February 13, Tanija Haider, a third year student of the PMCH, was killed as a truck ran over her on the highway.
