Fatehpur railway overpass lane opened to public
A lane of Fatehpur Railway Overpass in Feni was inaugurated today and is now open to public with hope that it will ease public suffering on Dhaka-Chittagong highway.
The lane was opened for public use around 1:45pm, reports our Comilla correspondent quoting Mir Golam Faruk, traffic inspector of Feni.

The lane will be used for Dhaka-bound vehicles from Chittagong, the correspondent said.
The Dhaka-Chittagong highway, one of the busiest in the country, suffered from tailbacks owing to the construction of Fatehpur Railway Overpass.
The highway was completely gridlocked from Wednesday after a portion of the four-lane highway was closed at Fatehpur of Feni for constructing a railway-overpass in the area.
The tailback finally eased yesterday as motorists were diverted to alternative routes around an 800-metre stretch of road in Fatehpur, where the construction work of a flyover is going on.
