Mother's struggle to spend Eid with children

Moyna Akter, one of the millions of passengers suffering due to the transportation chaos, finally got on a train after struggling for over 16 hours.

Moyna, a garments worker, lives in Gazipur alone. She wanted to go to her village home in Khulna to spend Eid with her mother and two children.

She was supposed to get on-board her train yesterday night from Joydebpur Railway Station. But she missed the train even after reaching the station four hours before her boarding time due to excessive crowd and the confusion over the schedule, she was talking to The Daily Star at Kamalapur Railway Station.

Later this morning, Moyna got into Sundarbans Express from Joydebpur Railway Station that finally left for Khulna from Kamalapur Railway Station in the afternoon.
