Fashiullah new DG of Directorate of Primary Education

The government has appointed Md Fashiullah as the director general of the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE).

Fashiullah, an additional secretary, had been serving as Director General of the Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics (BANBEIS).

“I have received the order and will join my new workplace soon,” Fashiullah told The Daily Star today.

He joined in Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) in 1991, and also served as the director of BANBEIS before being appointed to its newly created Director General position.

He also served as Deputy Director of DPE in the past.

He was born in Mymensingh and passed his masters degree in Management from Dhaka University.
