College teacher, banker found dead in Faridpur
A female college teacher and her neighbor, a bank officer, have been found dead in Faridpur town.
The deceased were identified as Sajia Begum, 34, a lecturer of Home Economics at Govt Sarda Sundory Mohila College, and Faruk Hasan, 38, a principal officer at Dhaka’s Motijheel Sonali Bank.
The victims used to live in separate flats on the ground floor of a two-storeyed building, owned by one Nur Islam, at Dakhshin Jhiltuli area, our Faridpur correspondent reports quoting police.
The bodies were discovered by David, son of the house owner, around 11:30pm last night, Inspector Bipul Dey of local Kotwali Police Station, said. “He found them both dead in Faruk’s flat”.
The wounds suggest, Sazia was killed by sharp weapon. Faruk’s body was hanging from the ceiling fan.
According to what could be gathered. Faruk moved into the flat on May 1 whereas Sazia was living here for two years with her younger son.
