4 female JMB operatives jailed for 5yrs in Sirajganj
A Sirajganj court today sentenced four female operatives of the banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) for five years imprisonment on charge of carrying explosive substances.
Sirajganj Special Tribunal Judge Fahimda Kader passed order this afternoon, reports our Pabna correspondent.
The convicts are Tabassum Rani, 32, of Solonga upazila in the district, Habiba Akter Mishu, 20, and Rumana Akter Ruma, 23, of Sajahanpur upazila in Bogra while Rumana Begum, 21, of Gabindaganj upazila in Gaibandha district.
Early on September 23 in 2016, detectives arrested them from a house of Masumpur Uttarpara village in Sirajganj and recovered six cocktails, four grenades and a number of Jihadi books from their possessions.
