The government is going to recruit 10,000 more nurses in the state-run hospitals to ensure better treatment for the patients, said Health Minister Mohammad Nasim today.

"So, there will be no crisis of nurses in the hospitals," Minister Nasim said while inaugurating the second 'Dhaka Head and Neck Conference' at a hotel in Dhaka city.

The minister added the government will build a 1000-bed hospital specialised in cancer treatment for the patients so that they do not need to go abroad for specialised treatment.

He, also senior leader of ruling Awami League, requested the businessmen and industrialists to come forward to build standard hospitals and diagnostic centers where patients will get better treatment within a reasonable price.
