Govt reshuffles 35 senior bureaucrats
The government has reshuffled 35 senior bureaucrats in the civil administration including Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation Chairman Mohammad Iqbal.
Iqbal, an additional secretary has been transferred as the managing director of Bangladesh Climate Change Trust under the ministry of environment and forests.
Like Iqbal, 27 other additional secretaries have also been reshuffled.
Meanwhile, the health and family welfare ministry gets two secretaries as it was split into two sections.
Existing Secretary Sirajul Islam has been given the task of health education and family planning division while Sirajul Haque Khan, secretary of science and technology ministry, has been made secretary to health care division.
Five joint secretaries have also been transferred in this reshuffle.
Ministry of Public Administration yesterady issued separate gazette notifications to these effects.
