Instigator of Ctg 4 women rape remanded
The instigator of a rape incident of four women during robbery at a house in Chittagong’s Karnaphuli was placed on three-day remand.
Abdul Hannan alias Hannan Member, was remanded today a day after he was arrested by Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), reports our Chittagong correspondent.

Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate Al Imran allowed the three-day remand for Hannan after Investigation Officer (IO) Inspector Santosh Kumar Chakma produced him with seven-day remand prayer.
Hannan approached another arrestee Abu Sama with information about the prospect of rape and robbery at the house in Karnaphuli area, where the male family members were not present.
Abu Sama was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly plotting rape of the four women during a robbery from New Market area in the port city.
In the early hours of December 13, four women -- three expatriates' wives and their sister-in-law -- were raped by four robbers in Shahmirpur village of Karnaphuli upazila.
Family members of the victims alleged that local police station Officer-in-Charge Sayedul refused to record the case twice and was forced to record the complaint four days after the incident following the intervention of State Minster for Land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Javed.
