Jamaat has no right to stay in Bangladesh: Muhith
Finance Minister AMA Muhith has described Jamaat-e-Islami as enemy of the country saying that “they have no rights to stay in Bangladesh”.
Muhith came up with the remarks while talking to reporters after emerging from a meeting with the BCS Economic Cadre Officers Association at his secretariat office in Dhaka this noon.
When the reporters drew his attention to a remark earlier made by a political party leader over the attack on Zafar Iqbal that the government was trying to fish in troubled water, Muhith said only Jamaat can say such things.
The finance minister also said the political leader made the remark as he is a supporter of Jamaat-e-Islami.
On March 3, Prof Muhammed Zafar Iqbal was knifed on Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) campus when he was attending a competition show. Now, he is out of danger.
The attacker was caught red handed.
