Man’s bullet-hit body found in Rajshahi

Police recovered a man’s bullet-hit body in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi this morning.

The deceased was Mati, 40, an accused in a criminal case, our local staff correspondent reports quoting Abdur Razzak, additional superintendent of Rajshahi district police.

However, police could not say details of the case filed back in 2006.

The body bore two bullet marks on his forehead and chest, police official Razzak said.

Amena Begum, wife of the victim, said Mati was missing since yesterday morning since he took his child to the school.

The body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
