13 Shibir men held in Rajshahi

Detectives have arrested 13 activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir in Rajshahi city in an arson case.
A team of Detective Branch of police raided Retina coaching centre at Ghospara intersection around 8:00pm yesterday and picked up the activists, Iftekhar Alam, an assistant commissioner of DB, told our Rajshahi correspondent.  
The law enforcers produced them before a Metropolitan Magistrate's Court in Rajshahi this afternoon.  
The court sent the activists to jail after showing them arrested in the arson case filed on January 20 after a bus was torched in Shiroil area of the city.
The arrestees are students at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).
