35 held on Benapole border

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 35 Bangladeshi nationals from Boroachra border under Benapole Port Police Station while they were returning to the country without valid documents on Tuesday.

The rescued Bangladeshis include 19 women and two children.

Ayub Ali, in-charge at Benapole Camp of BGB 26 Battalion, said a team of the border guards raided the area and arrested the Bangladeshis while they were returning home without passports.
