After rain, cold wave may grip country in next 48hrs
Cold wave is likely to sweep over the country in the next 48 hours, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted today.
The cold wave may prolong for two to three days, said Md Aftab Uddin, a meteorologist.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur at many places in the country in next 24 hours as of 9:00am today, said the met office in its latest forecast.
On the other hand, moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during midnight till morning, the forecast adds.
“Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may fall by (2-4)°C across the country,” it said.
The lowest temperature was recorded at 11.2° Celsius at Tetulia today.
