Body of pharmacist recovered in Dhaka
Police recovered the body of a pharmacist from a private hospital's director's room at Matuail in Dhaka today.
The body was identified to be of Mobarak Karim, 33, who hailed from Lalmohan of Bhola, said police.
Mobarak worked as a pharmacist at Proactive Medical College and Hospital in Siddhirganj.
After being informed, police recovered his body, which was hanging from a ceiling fan of Friendship Hospital director Jamal Hossain's room at 11:00am, said Siddiqur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Demra Police Station.
Mainul Islam, a relative of the physician, said the director of Friendship Hospital called Mobarak to his room yesterday noon over the phone while Mobarak was performing his duties at Proactive Medical College and Hospital.
Mainul said Mobarak had been missing since then.
He alleged that Mobarak was hanged after killing and demanded justice regarding the incident.
