Ctg rail link snaps after train derailment
Chittagong's rail link with rest of the country snapped this morning after a container train derailed in Laksham.
The Dhaka-bound train derailed somewhere between Comilla and Laksham around 8:40am, Sayedur Rahman, assistant director of Bangladesh Railway, told The Daily Star Online.
There has been no major damage done and a salvage train is currently fixing the lines, he said.
"We expect the lines to be back by 2:00pm," he said.
