Accused of murdering his wife, deceased Abul Hashem, 35, was arrested from Dhaka's Gulshan area last night, our local correspondent reports quoting police.

Sharishabari upazila police caught Hashem from Dhaka's Gulshan area last evening, said Billal Uddin, officer-in-charge of Sharishabari Police Station. He was taken to Jamalpur around midnight.
Hashem complained of chest pain after midnight. He was taken to Sharishabari Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared him dead around 4:35am, he added.
The OC did not elaborate on how his forces went to Dhaka and captured him on a case that was filed yesterday by Mosiur Rahman, a sub-inspector of Sharishabari police.
Hashem's wife died last April 14. Autopsy later revealed that she was strangulated. A case was filed in this regard yesterday.
