Family to meet Mojaheed tomorrow
Family members of condemned war criminal Ali Ahsan Muhammad Mojaheed will meet him at Dhaka Central Jail tomorrow.
Five members of Mojaheed's family including his son Mabrur Ahmed will visit the secretary general of Jamaat, now 67, at the jail around 11:00am.
"Family members of Mojaheed will meet him for the first time after the Supreme Court released its full judgement," Shishir Manir, one of Mojaheed's lawyers, told The Daily Star.
"We are now preparing the review petition that we will file by October 15," the lawyer said.
On October 3, Mojaheed told his lawyers that he will file the review petition with the apex court that had upheld his death penalty for killing intellectuals during the 1971 Liberation War.
The International Crimes Tribunal, which held the trial of the Jamaat leader for his 1971's crimes, issued execution warrant on October 1, a day after the apex court released the full verdict.
