Flyover on Dhaka-Sylhet highway soon

The government will build a four-lane flyover at Bhulta on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway to ease traffic movement at the busy intersection used by vehicles of four different routes. 

To construct the flyover, the Roads and Highways Department (RHD) today inked a Tk 240 crore deal with a joint venture at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.

Chief Engineer of RHD Feroz Iqbal and a representative of the firm, Wang Wei, signed the contract in presence of Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.

The flyover will be built with the government's own fund.
