First, he was taken to Bangladesh Ship-breaking Association Hospital in Sitakunda. But doctors said he needed to be admitted at an ICU, which the hospital did not have.

He was then taken to a hospital in Khulshi area. But the hospital authority did not admit him and did not give a reason for doing so, alleged the victim's son.

He was taken to CMCH around 12:30pm where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
